CEAC is pleased to bring Project Porchlight – a campaign to promote energy conservation – to Cochrane. CEAC volunteers will be visiting neighbourhoods throughout Cochrane to deliver a free energy efficient light bulb to as many residents as possible between March 17th and April 7th.
Project Porchlight is made possible by partnerships with local communities, and sponsors such as OneChange, Encana Climate Change Central, and 4H.
An energy efficient lightbulb uses up to 75% less energy than old-fashioned bulbs. Every bulb changed means energy bill savings. It also means less coal and natural gas is burned to produce power resulting in cleaner air.
If you can change a light bulb, you can make a difference!
