Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM This second “Field to Forest” event in the Bow Meadows community riparian area is our 22nd Annual Tree Plant. Organized in partnership with the Town of Cochrane 500+ trees will be planted in conjunction with a creek and river shore cleanup.  Be sure to dress for the weather as the event goes ahead rain or shine. The 21st Annual Branches and Banks event will be held on Saturday Oct 1 from 1 – 4 p.m.  This “Field to Forest” event in Bow Meadows is a great family outing. Up to 1500 trees will be planted as well as a creek and river clean-up. Be sure to dree for the weather as the event goes rain or shine.  Bring gloves and spades/shovels for planting and boots if your cleaning near a waterway.  Don’t forget to bring along your water bottle. WEED PULL – Caroline Godfrey Park – July 16

CEAC, in partnership with the town, is hosting a weed pulling this Saturday July 16 from 9:30 -11:30 to continue on-going efforts to remove invasive species and allow native species to thrive in Cochrane’s parks and natural areas. If you would like to come, please bring a pair of glove and dress for the weather. Volunteers are asked to meet at Dewey Blaney Park on Carolina Drive.
